About JASON (JV)
Jason (he/him) started his studies in acupuncture ten years ago as an acupuncture mentee. Embracing Traditional Chinese Medicine as a patient, it has inspired him to become a practitioner in the healing arts.
Jason also holds an Honours Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph. With a focus on Biological Science and Psychology. Combined with his training from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine (AIM) Academy, this has rounded out Jason’s Western and Eastern training and sees the balance for optimal health and wellbeing.
His approach to healing is a bring it back to the basics approach. He works one-on-one with patients to create custom treatment plans to restore health. Mental wellness, fertility and menstrual, and digestive health are among the many foci’ in Jason’s practice. As an instructor at AIM, Jason also supports the continued growth of Traditional Chinese Medicine, following in the footsteps of his mentors.
Queer, first generation Canadian, and of Filipino-Chinese descent, Jason recognizes the many intersections that we all come from. Creating a LGBTQ2S+ affirming and anti-racist space is necessary for healing.
